ENGLISH LITERATURE AND COMPOSITION
Welcome to the Caerus Literature and Composition page! I'm so glad that you are considering Caerus classes for this coming year, and I hope that you find this page helpful.
The Caerus Literature and Composition curriculum is a challenging and rigorous series of full-year, comprehensive English classes that are designed, through a carefully planned progression of skills, knowledge, and exposure to great literature, to take a student from Middle School ELA though AP/Middle College readiness. These classes are ideal for students who enjoy reading and writing and who have a sincere interest in improving their skillfulness. The following charts are guidelines for placement; however, please also review the syllabi for a more detailed examination of each level.
If you have any further questions, please reach out to me (Mrs.Jen Mueller) at [email protected].
All levels assume that parents will be directly involved in managing their child's studying, and that students will be dedicating some time every day to the weekly reading and composition assignments.
