Welcome to the Caerus Academy Website

Caerus Academy was founded in 2014 by long-time educators Jen and Jim Mueller in order to provide an unparalleled learning environment for homeschooling students from Middle School through High School.

Caerus is focused on providing classes in the core academic subjects: Science, ELA, and Mathematics. At Caerus, students have the option to take only one class a la carte, or to take multiple classes back-to-back, thus eliminating the need to travel from one class setting to the next.

Caerus Academy aims to provide one of the best academic opportunities for homeschoolers from Middle School through High School. We are known for academic excellence and for inspiring students to take a confident, diligent, and ambitious approach to their learning. Our motto "In Scientia Opportunitas" -- translated as “in knowledge there is opportunity" -- encompasses our exhortation to students to value the pursuit of knowledge and the success that comes from hard work.

At Caerus Academy you will find:
  • Highly experienced educators who inspire pupils with their infectious enthusiasm for their own curriculum areas, expert teaching, and subject knowledge
  • High expectations, with a focus on developing the self-discipline to do one's best
  • Academic, challenging, teacher-led classes
  • Strong emphasis on polite, courteous, and respectful behavior at all times
  • Small class sizes

Please look through these pages to find out more about Caerus and the courses we offer.

Enthusiastically,
The Caerus Team
